The last few days have been a whirlwind! I arrived in Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday evening to compete in the Arnold Amateur IFBB International Bikini Championships. It's been an incredible experience. As a veteran competitor, I've prepared for a competition many, many times. But this time, I was so eager to show off the physique I had trained to achieve using my very own SeXercise workout program. And, yes, I brought along my SeXercise DVD to squeeze in those last few workouts in my hotel room before stepping on stage.
On Thursday, Day 28 of my SeXercise workout challenge, I competed in the Pre-Judging Round. It's difficult to describe the feeling of combined joy, nerves, pride, and anticipation, as I stepped on stage to display the results of my hard work. I felt like I was not only being judged on my physique and my presentation style. I felt like I was allowing the judges to critique my training program, the effectiveness of the SeXercise workout that I had designed.
Can you imagine how my heart almost jumped out of my chest when I heard the head judge say my number when he uttered the first call-outs? First call-outs!! It was the first time I had ever accomplished such a feat at the Arnold. I was so overjoyed. And to know that I was being rewarded for all of the work I put into developing the SeXercise training program, it was such a gratifying moment for me. I can't even find the words to perfectly describe the sense accomplishment I experienced. AWESOME. It was just AWESOME!
So today, Day 30 of my 30-day SeXercise workout challenge, I appeared in the FINALS of the Arnold Amateur. I was incredibly proud to stand on the main stage of the expo of the Arnold Sports Festival. What an absolute thrill! There I was, standing before thousands of Arnold Expo attendees, displaying the results of the many hours, days, weeks, and months I put into the development of the SeXercise program.
To add to the excitement of the day, I shared a gift bag from me and SeXercise with all of my fellow competitors. I was so happy to be able to spread the word about the SeXercise workout program with them as well. (I did promise them to share my recipe for homemade "Zucchini Bread" Protein Bars...such a tasty, but healthy treat. So check back at my blog for that recipe. I'll post it on Monday, once I'm home in California.)
So my final results of the 30-Day SeXercise Challenge: I weighed in at 115.3 pounds today. Circumference of chest 35-1/2", waist 24-1/2", hips 35-3/4", and thigh 19-1/2". My hydrostatic body fat testing measured 11.6%. So overall, I lost 11.5 pounds, 3.2% body fat, and 3 inches off my waistline in 30 days. SUCCESS for me and SUCCESS for SeXercise!
I've already heard of others who are ready to take on the 30-Day SeXercise Challenge. I'm so eager to see the amazing results they are able to achieve as well!!
